What Is a Self-Inking Engineer Stamp?A self-inking stamp contains a rubber (or polymer) die engraved with your state-approved professional engineer seal design. Inside the housing sits an ink pad. When you press the stamp down, the die rotates against the pad, picks up ink, and then impresses a clean, sharp circular seal onto the paper—all in one motion. No separate stamp pad is required.Key typical features:
Impression size: Usually 1-5/8" to 2" diameter (exact size depends on your state’s requirements)
Approximately 5,000 impressions per ink pad (pads are replaceable and re-inkable)
